EXURA Medical Carts:
EXURA medical carts and their components, including integrated power systems, are not designed or intended for use in any application that supports or sustains life or in any healthcare system where failure of the product could result in injury or death. Examples of such critical healthcare applications include, but are not limited to, Neonatal Oxygen Analysers, Autotransfusion devices, blood pumps, nerve stimulators, arrhythmia detectors and/or alarms, defibrillators, pacemakers, Haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis systems, ventilators (adult or infant), Anaesthesia ventilators, infusion pumps, or any other healthcare device classified as “critical” by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
EXURA medical carts and power systems must not be used in environments containing flammable anaesthetic mixtures with air, oxygen, or nitrous oxide.
Agile Group expressly prohibits and disclaims any use of its products in life-critical applications. Under no circumstances will Agile Group knowingly sell its products for such uses. Any use in these applications is done without Agile Groups’s knowledge or consent, and Agile Group disclaims all liability for such use.
Any buyer who uses an EXURA product in a life-support application acknowledges this disclaimer and voluntarily assumes full responsibility for any and all consequences. The buyer agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless Agile Group, its officers, employees, subsidiaries, distributors, suppliers, and affiliates from any claims, costs, damages, expenses, or legal fees arising—directly or indirectly—from any injury or death resulting from such use, even in cases where negligence in design or manufacturing is alleged.
This applies even if EXURA medical carts contain hospital-grade plugs and receptacles or comply with safety standards such as UL544, UL2601, UL60601, cUL 22.2 No. 60601, and IEC60601.
